Families currently in a Before and/or After School Program are asked to confirm their plans by the deadline for PA Days. Regardless of your plans to attend, ALL families must fill out the online request form.

What does a typical day look like?
We have a balance of indoor and outdoor play, special guests, field trips and cooking experiences.

Spending as much time as possible outdoors, your child has the opportunity for rich learning experiences and fresh air. This is a time for group games and other activities. Children experience social interaction and creative learning together.

Inside the classroom, RisingOaks' learners do creative activities focused on their interests.

Hours of operation for PA Days are typically 6:30 am to 6:00 pm (except for St. Nicholas which is 7:00 am - 6:00 pm). RisingOaks reserves the right to cancel PA Day care or to reduce program hours (e.g., 8:30 am to 5:30 pm) should it be necessary due to low enrolment and/or staff requirements during this province-wide child care staffing crisis. Registrants will be notified in advance of any such changes.

A Bag Lunch Policy is in effect for PA Days. Please send a morning snack and lunch, along with a water bottle. Our in-house cook will provide a nutritious afternoon snack on PA Days.
