As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team.
About the Position:
The HR Coordinator supports various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. As well as assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies that align with organizational goals and culture. Using our employment data management system, you will be responsible to maintaining accurate employee records ensuring compliance and confidentiality. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, ensuring seamless HR operations, and fostering a positive, high-performance workplace culture. While your job title will be HR Coordinator you may also be referred to as the event planner, peacemaker, career planner and detective. Ideally, you have experience working for a not-for-profit organization in a similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for our fast-paced work environment. If you’re someone who is driven to think outside the box, and passionate about working collaboratively to support a well-run organization now and for the future, this is the role for you. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Human Resources certificate
- Certified Human Resources Professional is an asset
- Member of Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) is an asset
- Proven ability to solve problems with diplomacy and tact
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a tightly knit team and individually
- Strong service orientation and proven customer service skills.
- Proven ability to effectively multi-task and produce accurate work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Working with RisingOaks Early Learning
This is a full-time, permanent position working on-site 37.5 hours per week.
Your total compensation package will include your base salary (paid hourly), reimbursement of professional association and development fees, paid well-being days and a comprehensive benefits program. In addition to vacation entitlement, we have a paid Christmas closure.
Base Salary: $26.67 - $28.74 per hour (est. $52,000 - $56,000 per annum)
Days and Hours: 37.5 hours per week; schedule is negotiable.
Our core office hours are 9am to 5pm, although you’ll enjoy flexibility to define your preferred schedule.
You’ll find our office is conveniently located near the 7/8 expressway off Fischer- Hallman Road in Southwest Kitchener. There may also be opportunities for occasional remote work.

Job Summary:
The Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) collaborates closely with all other members of the program team to provide nurturing play-based early learning to support each child in realizing their potential while giving families peace of mind.
Job duties are performed in accordance with RisingOaks’ Program Statement, policies, values and beliefs, the Child Care and Early Years Act and the College of ECEs Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, under the supervision of the Centre Supervisor.

Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Registered member of the College of ECEs in good standing
- Practicum experience in a child care setting gained through post-secondary program or equivalent
- Standard First Aid and CPR (level C) training
Required Knowledge:
- Demonstrated knowledge of domains of childhood development
- Knowledge of the Child Care & Early Years Act, its regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of How Does Learning Happen?, Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years
- Knowledge of a diversity of family contexts and the impact these have on our work with children
- Knowledge of curriculum theories, observation and documentation techniques

Job Requirements:
