Outdoor Concert!

Print
Program Name: Infant

The infant educators have observed that whenever we bring out the musical instruments the infants all gravitate towards them. One morning Educator Amanda decided to bring the music outside. Amanda set out the outdoor drums along with some pots and pans. When the infants came outside they were each given a drumstick. Cameron, Ethan and Gavin quickly started to hit the drums and make music. The infants fostered their hand-eye coordination and their motor skills by playing the drums.

Later some of the infants took their drumsticks around the playground to find other things to make music with. Olivia found some buckets to hit and Ethan tried hitting some of the logs. When the toddlers came outside they joined in on the fun. The sound of drums could be heard throughout the playground all morning.

We wonder what other ways we can make music outside?
