Throughout October, the School-age 3 children engaged in a variety of meaningful experiences that supported their social, emotional, and creative development. We began by observing Orange Shirt Day, where children participated in discussions, storytelling, and art to reflect on inclusion and the message that Every Child Matters. The children learned about the importance of kindness, inclusion, and respect for others. They created orange-themed artwork and shared thoughtful ideas about how every child matters. The group also explored themes of gratitude and community as part of our Thanksgiving reflections, expressing appreciation for family, friends, and the natural world around them. The children demonstrated strong teamwork and kindness as they worked together and supported one another in daily routines and projects. Outdoor activities and cooperative games strengthened relationships and encouraged teamwork. It was truly a month of growth, awareness, and connection.
