Objectives: To Further explore the children’s interest in fruit and to observe and seek out answers to our questions.
The Preschool 1 fruit project started with the children wondering what strange looking fruit educator Courtney brought out at lunch time. The children were curious what the fruit was. It was green and pink on the outside and had white flesh with black spots in the centre.
We learned about many different fruits that we have never tried, and even made applesauce.
We also learned that it is not easy to grow an apple tree.
